This holiday home is located near one of the most child- friendly beaches of Denmark, where you can also find beautiful dunes. Take a drive to Sandobberne also known as SpotX by surfers and try kite surfing in one of the best places of Denmark. Water is very shallow and the waves are not so high, thus making the conditions ideal for kite surfing. Enjoy a feel of a geological park on the headlands of Odsherred, located in a glacier. In Odsherred, you can find various domes and grave mounds dating back to Bronze Age and Stone Age along the streets. In this region, you can also find the remains of an abandoned 300-year-old forest village in Ulkerup, Hempel Glass Museum and the replica of the sun chariot found in the bog of Trundholm Moses in the Odsherred Museum. You can also see the massive pocket stones as well as Naesholm Castle located on the small island in Nygård Lake between Hojby and Nykobing. A nature school is located in Odsherred, where you can learn to catch sea trout, go on butterfly safaris, take forest expeditions as well as enjoy troll and fox expeditions. Houvig Nature Reserve is a renatured wetland and has rich bird life. Fitness trails in the forest of Grønnehaveskoven, a beautiful dog forest and Thorskilde Springs that sources the Kongeengen Meadows are the magical sites located nearby. Children will be thrilled by a visit to Odsherred Fire Museum. Also visit Sjaelland Adventure Land, galleries and other typical Odsherred attractions located nearby as well as Dragsholm Palace that dates back to 13th century. You may also pay a visit to Asnaes Zoo. Havnebyen is a unique, rich fishing harbour with boats and small smokehouse. This fishing area is also suitable for recreational fishermen. Enjoy the coffee houses and nice shopping options in Nykobing Sjaelland. Take a ferry from Havnso to Sejero and Nekselo, as both the islands are worth a visit. Do visit Sjaelland Adventure Land, galleries, Rorvig, Nykobing located nearby and explore these areas. Enjoy sea safaris from the harbour of Rorvig. You can reach Hundested by ferry from Rorvig. Copenhagen is just one hour away on ferry from Hundested.
