Lovely and completely renovated cottage by the beautiful lake Sommen in Småland. Here you are offered a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, from which you have a panoramic view of the lake. In the house there is a fiber optic WLAN connection with 100/100MBit. The large terrace faces south and has a hot tub that you can use all year round. In addition, here you have your own dock and private swimming area across the street. In the large garden is a trampoline, slide and playhouse.
The surrounding area is a beautiful hiking area with magical looking forests. There is also a shallow swimming lake north of the house, perfect for children. There is a barbecue area by the lake.
The annex is inhabited all year round. Railroad and road (noise barrier to the road and extra noise insulation) runs next to the property. Large wood-burning sauna for 12 people, there is also another whirlpool for 7 people. An ice maker is in the house.

Winter activities: Ice fishing and cross-country skiing possible nearby. Asbybacken ski resort is 12 km away, 70 km to Vimmerby and the world of Astrid Lindgren.

    “Wir waren im Mai 2018 eine Woche mit 10 Personen (Männertruppe 30-40Jahre) in diesem Ferienhaus. Wir sind um ca. 14:00 Uhr am Haus angekommen. Die nette Besitzerin hat gerade das Haus gereinigt und wir durften schon vor 16:00 Uhr (frühste Anreisezeit) unsere Taschen im Ferienhaus abstellen, um in Tranas einkaufen gehen zu können. Das Ferienhaus war sehr sauber (die Besitzerin legt viel Wert auf Sauberkeit). Im Haus sind zwei riesige Kühlschränke und wir hatte keine Probleme Nahrung und Bier in diesen zu verstauen. Wir sind haupsächlich zum Angeln gekommen und uns von unseren Frauen und Kindern zu entspannen. Die nette Besitzerin hat uns alles gezeigt 2000SEK Kaution genommen, von denen wir 1000SEK nach dem Urlaub zurückbekommen haben (1000SEK sind für Strom draufgegangen).
    Die Aussicht von der Terrasse auf den See ist unbeschreiblich schön. Wir haben auch ein Boot mitgebucht (3500SEK) und wir haben damit tolle Angelausflüge machen können. Wir durften auch das gelbe Kayak gratis mitbenutzen. Wir haben in dem gesamten Urlaub 20 Hechte und unzählige Barsche gefangen (zum Teil auch von dem tollen Bootssteg, den wir mitbenutzen durften).
    Wir können echt nichts schlechtes über dieses Ferienhaus erzählen, was wir auch vorher nicht wussten.
    Wieso 4 und keine 5 Häuser vergeben: Grund sind die Gleise hinter dem Haus. Die Züge fahren im Durchschnitt alle 20min. Wenn man sich auf der Terrasse unterhält und ein Güterzug vorbeifährt, dann kann man sich nicht verstehen. Mich persönlich hat das nicht besonders gestört (am Ende der Woche gingen die Züge aber einigen von uns auf die Nerven, wenn man sich z.B. auf der Terrasse entspannen/sonnen wollte).”

    “Schöne Aussicht auf den See Sommen. Wunderschöne Außenanlage mit großem Garten. Viel Platz im Haus. Kleines Manko: Küchengeschirr konnte erst nach gründlicher Reinigung benutzt werden. Schönes Haus auch für Familien mit Kindern.”

    “Mooi schoon royaal huis, bij aankomst (twee uur te laat, excuses daarvoor) ontvangen door nors overkomende bierdrinkende eigenaar. Komt niet netjes en professioneel over maart effin. Locatie is buiten treinrails direct achter huis en weg direct voor het huis (wat we wisten met boeken) erg mooi gelegen met een geweldig uitzicht over het meer. Keuken was royaal voorzien van allerlei potten en pannen bestek etc.

    Mooie slaapkamers en redelijk ruim. Heerlijk bubbelbad (veel gebruikt). Sauna is houtgestookt en staat iets van het huis af in het zicht van de straat, niet echt handig en functioneel, niet gebruikt dus.Grote tuin met voldoende speel gelegenheid. Eigenaar is zeer stip op de eigen schoonmaak, maar dat idee hadden we al, er was een uitgebreid scala aan schoonmaak middelen en stofzuigers etc etc voorhanden. Wat mij betreft aan te raden.”
