Surrounded by lush, typically Mediterranean vegetation with olive trees, palm trees, cacti and colourful flowering plants, we visit the charming, rustic Villa Els Ametllers on the edge of the Plà de Mallorca. The Plà is the green area in the centre of the island, an exceptionally central location from which larger towns such as Inca are within easy reach. The beautiful villa and its fantastic terraces are in a wonderfully quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle and yet close to the town. You can drive there to pick up everything you need on a daily basis. Here you will find supermarkets and, on Thursdays, a highly recommended weekly market typical of the island. There are bars and restaurants scattered along the pedestrianised area in the old town of Inca. As Inca has made a name for itself as a centre for the shoe and leather trade, you can buy well-known products from well-known brands cheaply at the market and in outlet stores. Don't forget to visit the market halls in Carrer Miquel Duran, which are open every day except Sundays. The delicious aroma of Mallorcan olives, almonds and citrus fruits will envelop you completely.

As the Plà is very popular with cyclists, the spacious villa is also ideal for a group of sports enthusiasts travelling together or athletes and their families, even if the latter want to plan their days a little differently. You can easily plan a varied holiday programme from the villa. You can visit the north-east coast with your hire car, possible destinations include the bay of Alcúdia or the popular beaches of Son Serra de Marina, Playa del Muro or Can Picafort. Take a detour through the Tramuntana mountains. From the villa you can catch a marvellous view of its foothills. If you are travelling through the Tramuntana mountains, you should definitely visit picturesque towns such as Valldemossa or Deìa in the west.

There is also a lot to be said about the wonderfully situated Villa Els Ametllers itself. We particularly like the outside area of the villa. Not only is the azure blue pool, surrounded by a natural stone terrace and gently accessible via steps, really fantastic; the numerous seating options in the outdoor area are also impressive. Basically, it can be said that the living areas extend outwards over the walled terrace. The many benches are wonderfully arranged like balustrades at the edge of the terrace. The light curtains in warm beige tones provide shade when required. A glass table with comfortable chairs makes for a great outdoor dining area. The large terrace offers so much space that there is also room for a cool lounge set next to the historic brick-built fountain. A small table-pour-deux is available for your morning coffee. Above this wonderful terrace is a large sunny balcony of the same size. Here there is another seating area with 4 chairs, suitable for relaxing in the evening or for sunbathers during the day. From here you can comfortably enjoy the view of the beautiful green Plà and the mountains.

The interior of the 2-storey villa harmonises with the rustic, rural style of the house and this fantastic area. Heavy wooden furniture with antique character is designed for solid comfort. The large, open-plan living room has been extended to include a dining area. The bright kitchen area has a fully equipped wooden kitchen. A kettle, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher and everything else you need for a relaxing holiday is available, so you are well equipped to make your decision to self-cater a reality. On the top floor of the elegant villa is a second living room, which is flooded with light thanks to several windows. Comfortable seating under exposed wooden beams can be found in the bright room with pretty decorative items such as a woven carpet and large-format pictures. The bedrooms are all adequately equipped for 2 people and each has a double bed or 2 single beds. Guests have 3 bathrooms, also with a modern design, at their disposal. The house is therefore ideal for a group of up to 8 people who would like to spend their time in a holiday home that is close to nature yet well connected. We at Fincallorca already wish you a varied and relaxing active holiday. This rustic Villa Els Ametllers is located in a beautiful natural setting on the Plà de Mallorca, the lush green area in the centre of the island, close to the town of Inca. Thanks to the central yet very quiet, lush green location, you can quickly do your daily shopping. From the cosy villa, the beautiful beaches of the northern half of the island are around 20-25 km away, for example the 16 km long chain of beaches that begins in the bay of Alcúdia.
