A riding school is located just 100 metres away. Riding paths run through the forests and the dunes. Enjoy the 200-year-old atmosphere in the commercial village of Købmandsgaard in Tornby. Visit the exhibitions here and enjoy shopping for local specialities. The bustling, commercial town called Hirtshals is just 1.5 km away. Fisheries and ferries bestow a special charm on the region. Observe the unloading of fishing boats and the ferries travelling to Norway from Monument and Staircase. The place offers a variety of pleasant shopping options, a bowling centre, tennis and badminton courts and a small historical museum in Fisherman’s House (built in 1880) in Hirtshals.
