Vacation home, a former farmhouse in hilly position. It is located in the beautiful area of Tuscia, in the province of Lazio and not far from Lago di Bolsena (only 500 m as the crow flies) and 2 km from Montefiascone. The cottage is situated on a hill and on the same estate there is also a dependence (occasionally occupied by the owner) and another farmhouse about 300 m away. The large outdoor area is ideal for relaxing moments and to have meals outside. The area is famous for its wine production, the most famous wine being 'Est Est Est', but also for its proximity to the picturesque Lago di Bolsena, the largest crater basin in Italy, surrounded by woods, vineyards and olive groves. The proximity to the lake makes this accommodation ideal for sports enthusiasts: there is the possibility of sailing, fishing, boating, paragliding, hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking. Lago di Bolsena is also suitable for swimming and is one of the cleanest lakes in Italy. Its beaches are only 1 km from the house and in Bolsena is also a tourist port. Beautiful and impressive is the oak park just above the lake. Not to miss a visit to Montefiascone, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the lake and the most magnificent sunsets. In the many restaurants you can taste the culinary delights of the region, such as dishes of freshwater fish like the "Sbroscia". Ideal location to visit both Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany. Rome is 117 km away and well connected by train. The house is on 2 floors which are not connected internally, only by external stairs.
