You're only 33 km from some of the finest sandy beaches in the Manche, and less than a 40-minute drive from Omaha Beach and other major World War II sites. Its rural location makes it perfect for a relaxing stay. 11 km away, you can go exploring in Saint-Lô. Known as the capital of ruins, the town boasts an impressive architectural heritage and an interesting art museum. The region is also rich in culinary experiences. For example, 1 km away, a delicious ham is made according to a traditional recipe. Visit the German cemetery in La Chapelle-en-Juger, where more than 11,000 soldiers from World War II are buried. The Pays du Cheval, the land of the horse, will delight you, also in autumn when the popular jazz festival takes place in Coutances.
