Middelfart, 16 km from Varbjerg, is one of Funen's most beautiful market towns with a cozy old town and a beautiful, modernized waterfront with cafes, restaurants and marina. There is also a pedestrian zone here with many exciting stores. The nature around Middelfart is incredibly beautiful. Here you can walk from the waterfront to a large forest area bordering Lillebælt. The area is very hilly with beautiful beech forests, cliffs and beautiful beaches. Also bring your fishing rod, there are unique opportunities for fishing here. In addition, Funen's largest city Odense is only about 30 minutes by car from the house.
