Holiday house in a child-friendly residential area near the sea, beach and nature reserve

The holiday house in a quiet location on the south side of Egmond aan Zee is child-friendly, near a little playground.

You can park your car near the house. A resident parking permit for Egmond aan Zee is handed out to you free of charge.
It is about a 5-minute walk from the house to the beach, as well as the centre with shops and cafes.

The access to the North Holland Dunes Reserve is practically on the doorstep, also with a free entrance pass.

We only rent to 1/3 adults or 2 adults with 1 older child, and/or 1 baby.

The house is fully-furnished. The entrance area provides access to the shower/WC and the separate kitchen, as well as the cosy living room with a three-seater sofa and armchair, dining table with chairs and sideboard, cable TV, a DVD player and free Wi-Fi access. Stairs lead up to the attic with two bedrooms with three single beds and a junior bed. A fourth bed can be set up free of charge in the front bedroom with a washbasin. Two beds measure 90 x 200cm, the other 80 x 200cm. Covers and pillows are provided. You can either bring your own bed linen or borrow it for a fee. The house has central heating. A highchair can be used free of charge.

The rear terrace is sheltered and accessed either from the kitchen or through a side entrance. The terrace has a picnic table with benches. There is also a bench in front of the house, where you can relax with a view of the adjoining lawn.

We only rent to 1/3 adults or 2 adults with 1 older child, and/or 1 baby.

The Bergen municipal area consists of six villages: Egmond aan Zee, Egmond aan den Hoef, Egmond Binnen, Bergen, Schoorl and Groet. Egmond aan Zee is the most well-known village and was founded about 1000 years ago as a fishing village, which is still apparent today. Since the beginning of the previous century, it has developed as a seaside village and is very popular among tourists for its peacefulness and healthy sea air. The Jan van Speyk lighthouse stands as an emblem at the boulevard. The wide beach offers a range of recreational facilities. The beach pavilions hire out canopy beach chairs, deckchairs and wind shelters. You can also walk along the beach, go swimming, fishing with a rod or net, sailing and surfing. The village offers café terraces, restaurants and the Voorstraat shopping streets with something for everyone. The shops are open all year round seven days a week. It is worth seeing the tulip fields in spring, the ruins and castle chapel of the former earl of Egmont (aan den Hoef), the abbey in Egmon Binnen, the homeland museum in Egmond aan Zee, and the shopping citis Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar, with the famous cheese market on Fridays (from April to the end of September).

    “Heel fijne accommodatie,rustig gelegen en van al het nodige voorzien met heel vriendelijke eigenaars. Vanwege trap echter niet geschikt voor mensen die moeilijk ter been zijn.”

    “Wir hatten einen Urlaub im Ferienhaus Seesterne.
    Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen! Das Ferienhaus war bei der Ankunft sehr sauber und ist schön eingerichtet. Außerdem ist es ruhig gelegen mit Liegewiese vor der Tür, also autofrei, ideal für unser Kind.
    Vor dem Ferienhaus steht eine Sitzbank und hinten ein Picknicktisch, an dem wir bei schönem Wetter lecker zu Abend gegessen haben.

    Wir haben für nächstes Jahr schon wieder gemietet!”

    “Hatten eine schöne Woche in Egmond aan Zee in diesem schön eingerichteten Ferienhaus.
    Das Ferienhaus war bei der Ankunft sehr sauber mit gemachten Betten (extra bestellt), und ganz wichtig für uns, ein superschnelles WIFI/WLAN im Haus!!

    Wunderbar ruhige Lage neben dem Dünengebiet und auch nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand und dem Zentrum entfernt.

    Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!”

    “Für junge und junggebliebene Paare eine ideale Unterkunft. Man erreicht alles schnell fußläufig, kann aber auch bei längeren Spaziergängen in den Dünen und am Strand prima entschleunigen. Positiv: Die zentrale Lage zur Stadt, zum Strand und zu den Dünen. Negativ: Die Treppe (Stiege) ins OG. Eng und steil. Für ältere Menschen eher weniger geeignet, besonders im Hinblick auf das "runtergehen". Kein Waschbecken auf der Toilette.”
